What We're About
Friends and Family Paying it Forward in Stacey's Memory
The Scholarship was established to honor her spirit, her integrity, and her dedication to service.
Contributions will help recipients to continue their education and achieve career goals.
Our Mission
The Stacey Dion Memorial Scholarship was founded to provide financial assistance to credit union employees. Applicants may be the CU/CUSO employee or a member of his or her immediate family. Scholarships can be used for students of universities, community colleges, trade schools, or technical/business certifications. The Foundation is named for a dedicated employee, who worked in the industry and believed strongly in the mission, People Helping People.
In Memory...
Many lives changed April 2018. After a blackout, it was determined Stacey had a brain tumor. Remaining positive, the Dion family moved forward with treatments and prayers, trying to keep things as ‘normal’ as possible.
But things would never be the same.
Stacey was so much to so many: awesome wife and mom, great daughter and sister, best friend, sports enthusiast, and dedicated to delivering 100% in all she did, especially servicing her CUs.
Stacey always had a smile on her face, stories about their amazing sons, sports talk and stats to share, and a quick wit second to none.
Her fight was fierce but short, October 2018,
Stacey joined her dad, also a victim of cancer.
